Discover your power with Netflix’s Cursed series, take the Siduri Holographic Experience and win big with Müller Milchreis

Netflix Original Series: Cursed

To mark the debut of its new show, Cursed, Netflix is using WebAR to give users the ability to virtually conjure roots and lightning, receive the sword of power and find their path of magic in a series of augmented reality challenges.

A re-imagination of the Arthurian legend, Netflix’s Cursed is told through the eyes of Nimue, a young woman with a mysterious gift who finds an unexpected partner in Arthur, a humble mercenary, in a quest to find Merlin and deliver an ancient sword. Through an interactive and immersive experience, users are able to access exclusive content like a conversation between the cast and showrunner Tom Wheeler and a Frank Miller Q&A, learn more about the characters, and discover how the story links to the classic Arthurian legend.

The Cursed Virtual Experience was created by Powster, an award-winning interactive creative studio and production company. It is also the first commercial experience to use both our newly launched Face Effects and in-browser video recording. The combination of these powerful features allows users to save photos and videos of themselves trying the Cursed effects all on the web, and share this media to the messaging and social media apps of their choice.

Siduri Wines

Critically-acclaimed Pinot Noir specialist, Siduri, is serving up a holographic augmented reality experience which brings to life the winery’s ethos — that serious wine and serious fun aren’t mutually exclusive.

When a user scans the Siduri QR code, a hologram of Founder, Adam Lee, catapults out of a virtual wine bottle to tell stories about the 25-year-old winery in a lighthearted, immersive, and educational way. The Siduri Holographic Experience features three different segments including a 90-point shower, a Western-themed screw cap showdown and a game show called Pinot Match.

Müller Milchreis

Created by agencies K5 Factory and 3ltr using 8th Wall, the Müller Milchreis WebAR contest gives customers the chance to win a 50,000 euro prize. Winning QR codes are hidden on the back of the lids of three rice puddings across all twelve participating rice pudding original varieties.

Lucky customers who find a QR code on their pudding can scan it to summon the Müller Milchreis character in AR, who peals back the lid of a virtual pudding to tell them they’ve won 50,000 euros!

This is really impressive, thanks for the helpful post. I would like to see more projects involving VR technologies, as they allow you to really feel all the effects and sensations of the process. Now with the team https://iwanta.tech/ we are developing a virtual reality game, it's very exciting.
