Should I migrate to XAudio2 from DirectSound?

Hi,

We have multimedia app which uses DirectSound for playback of audio files.

DirectSound is deprecated many years. And I'm a little worried that quality of DirectSound support may decrease. But I don't want to spent my time on useless work.

Should we migrate to XAudio2 API?

why you want to migrate with that API? i guess you need to update your own API.
