Hi!
I need to know the advantages/disadvantages (if any) of using Google Play or Custom Leaderboard/Achievement.
From your experience can you tell me which you prefer? Have you faced any issues with either?

Google Play or Custom Leaderboard/Achievement?
I think it would be better if you created your own leaderboard. Its been quite a while since ive seen a game with google play leaderboard or ios game center. You dont need to have a complex one either just make sure its simple and well designed.
