Football video games with hattrick-like mode

Hello Guys,

I just came here, as a longtime gamer, to have your opinion, as developers and technicians, on the following question:
What has prevented software houses to develop a Football video game which could feature a hattrick-like mode?
And also, why the two main related software houses, Konami and Ea Sports, never thought of implementing something like that?
While both Pes and Fifa have their online mode (MyClub and FUT) since several years, they never seemed interested in creating a mode with randomly created, unique, and trainable players.

Front Page Sports Football was exactly what you are talking about. It was "the thinking man's football game". In this particular case, it hasn't been done since because I never got to make games.
